Facebook. Unimpressed
I finally gave in and checked out facebook. So many people had told me you basically don’t exist online unless you register.
Count me unimpressed.
It’s myspace but prettier. Um … what more to it is there?
I think, like linkedin, I will find no use for it. Someone please let me in on the secret, why should I spend my time on yet another “social” site?

Hi Chris,
We were having a chat about this at work this week and I think the best description I heard was this…”You’ve got Blogging, then you’ve got the kid sister of blogging which is Myspace, then you’ve got that horrible newborn baby that means your mum and dad are still having sex…(at their age!) That’s Facebook!” I think that quite neatly sums it all up don’t you?! Lol :-)

Heh, I think that about sums it up. I do think it is somewhat better than myspace, but it comes down to the same thing underneath the better design and technology. It feels a little icky “collecting” people ..
