One week to go!
Next week we will be in Canada. Two weeks of big skys and maple syrup :)
I can’t wait. We haven’t had proper vacation for a long time. Our last two trips I didn’t properly relax because of work. Not going to make that mistake this time.
Another reason I am looking forward to it is we are city-hopping - starting off in Toronto (one day only unfortunately), on to Winnipeg, finishing up in Calgary and Banff. I would have loved to added Vancouver and/or another eastern city like Montreal or Halifax but perhaps that would have been greedy :)
I am hoping to meet up with D’Arcy (who is on vacation right now so will probably be well-tanned by that point) and Teddy (who is uncharacteristically not on vacation for once!) while I am in Cowtown. Original plan was to go see some ice hockey but it seems everybody else has had the same bloomin’ idea and booked all the tickets up. In all our trips I have never managed to get to see a game. Grrr.
As a surprise addition, now we are stopping over in Toronto it gives me the potential opportunity to meet up with some of the B5 guys. Jeremy just confirmed his diary is currently showing availability. Just depends on flights sticking to schedule now. I hope we can arrange it, that would be so cool.

Vacation? Working hard, trying to pay for the new arrival. I’m thinking of starting a new blog - Bankrupt by Baby. Think I can monetize that?
Drop me a line and lemme know your exact dates. There are some options for Flames tix, and I shall look into them for you.
Weather’s turning nice. But bring the woolies, just in case.

Thanks Teddy, I will email you my cell phone number. I reckon bankrupt by baby blog would be a big hit, I know there will be many who would appreciate it ;)

It should be nice in the ‘Peg. We’re supposed to have a few back to back days at +14c .. hopefully that will melt the snow.
