Email delays
My usual email account is actually a forwarded domain pointing at Fastmail. I have used Fastmail under a paid account for years just because they have been mostly pretty stable and I have tons of stored messages. It’s a bit daft really as I can get IMAP now on several of my hosting accounts but it is just easier to keep it there.
Problem is recently my domain forwarding through 123-reg has been absolutely lousy. For example I just this minute received a message sent at 08:00am. That is some crappy email forwarding. Now if I move to having the email managed at my hosting account I can save the Fastmail fee (which is up for renewal) and possibly get faster response … but there is still all that archived email ….
Hmmm ….
